UFC 141 Results - Overeem Defeated Lesnar - Brock Lesnar Vs. Alistair Overeem [Fight Video]

Canadian Skydiver Michael Ungar Dies - Ontario Skydiver Dies During Landing in California [VIDEOS]

Experienced skydiver Michael Ungar, top, died Tuesday after a hard landing at a facility in southern California. He's seen here during a tandem dive in a staff photo at the Niagara Skydive Centre in Dunnville, Ont.

Michael Ungar, 32, of Aylmer, Ont., died Tuesday after hitting the ground attempting a risky manoeuvre known as "swooping", a high-speed dive to skim the ground before lifting up and landing.

Ungar was found in a small body of water at the south end of the field at 2091 Goetz Road, according to Perris police Sgt. Sergio Rodriguez.

An investigation revealed Ungar was injured during a difficult aerial maneuver, Rodriguez said.Witnesses said the victim's parachute opened but he had trouble controlling it.

A BRAZILIAN woman has given birth to conjoined twins with one body and two perfectly formed heads.The 10.1-pound baby was delivered by emergency C-section early Monday in Anajas, in the northeastern Para State.

Joseph Brazil, the obstetrician responsible for the delivery, said the child has "an amazing appetite."

"Despite all the problems we have as a small interior hospital we managed to save both mother and baby, which was our aim," the hospital's director, Claudionor Assis de Vasconcelos, told reporters.

New Jersey Plane Crash - Five Dead At Plane Crashes On Highway (VIDEOS)

At 10:04 Tuesday morning, the Socata TBM-700 broke apart and crashed onto I-287 about 300 feet north of the James Street interchange in Morristown.

The NTSB confirms that seconds before the crash, pilot Jeffrey Buckalew mentioned an icing issue to an air traffic controller with whom the pilot was in contact.

An entire family, including two young children, is dead, and aviation investigators have a long, tough job ahead as they try to figure out how the plane carrying the family and one friend crashed onto a New Jersey interstate.

3rd Smallest Baby Born In Us (Video & Pics)

The Third smallest baby ever to be born and survive is thriving, doctors say, after she entered the world almost four months before she was due.Melinda Star Guido weighed roughly the same as two iPhones when was born 16 weeks premature at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Centre on August 30. She was due tomorrow.

Virginia Tech Shooting 2011 : Two Dead More Details Revelved (VIDEOS)

A gunman killed a Virginia Tech police officer yesterday at a campus parking lot and then apparently shot himself to death nearby in a baffling attack that shook up the school nearly five years after it was the scene of the deadliest shooting rampage in modern U.S. history.

In the minutes after the 12:30 p.m. shooting, Virginia Tech officials sent a flurry of e-mail messages, texts and tweets urging students and employees to stay inside locked rooms and away from campus.

Rapper Heavy D Dies

Heavy D, the rapper whose real name is Dwight Arrington Myers, is dead at the young age of 44. He was known for heavyset physique, his dancing and tongue-twisting rhymes.

Lt. Mark Rosen of the Beverly Hills police told the Associated Press that Heavy D died in a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday after collapsing at his condominium building. Rosen said Beverly Hills police officers were dispatched to Heavy D's condominium building Tuesday morning after receiving a report of an unconscious person laying on the walkway of a building. They found Heavy D was conscious and communicative but had difficulty breathing and was transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where he later died.

Ohio Issue 2: Controversial Anti-Union Law Defeated By Voters

Ohio voters rejected Issue 2, a ballot referendum on Senate Bill 5, a measure that restricts collective bargaining rights for more than 360,000 public employees, among other provisions. Opposition to the legislation inspired large protests from residents around the state this year.
